I Am Back :0)

I don't have enough hours in the day these days.  Many of you can relate.  So I thought I would try to add in one more thing:  resurrecting this blog and giving away some digital creations.  LOL!!  

So, first up is a mini kit.   A REALLY mini kit: 3 papers and 5 elements.  You should know that was a real challenge for me to keep it small and simple! I completed it as part of a challenge over at Plain Digital Wrapper.  (Go HERE if you would like to participate.)  I have the link below the preview. Busy!!

Well, we have arrived at the end of another month!  Hard to believe.  The older I get, the faster the time flies, which I never really understood when my mother used to say it.

I have done twenty six layouts this month.  Don't worry ~ I'm not posting them all here.  Just a few for you to look at.

It is so, so hard to believe we are coming to the end of April already!!!  Am I the only one that thinks this year is flying way too fast?  I hope that I can make each day count more than I do.........it is hard to stay present in each moment when I work full-time and have a quarter acre yard to look after, too.  What do you do to stay in the moment and make your days feel well-spent?

One of the things I've been doing a LOT more of is organizing and scrapping old photos.  Today I have a layout done of my daughter and son in law.  Enjoy!

I've Been Busy !

Digitals CT Call Contest

We are looking to add a few more members to our Creative Team and we are going to do it through a fun contest!

Each CT member will work with 2-3 products a month, making at least 2 layouts with each kit provided and posting them in our gallery, DST and a minimum of 2 other galleries of your choice.  Participating in the site and promoting our designers beyond that earns you reward points toward gift certificates.  Please be willing to make a minimum 6 month commitment and sign a confidentiality agreement.

To apply to join the CT Contest, email CT Leader sabrinahoglen@gmail.com with CT CALL in the subject line and a paragraph explaining why you want to be on the team, links to the galleries where you are most active, list your other involvement in the digital scrapbooking community, your username at our site, and a little about yourself.  Applications are due by March 31.

All eligible applicants will participate in Round 1 of the layout contest beginning April 2.  The winners will gon on to Round 2, and finally, those remaining will be offered a spot to start on our team for May.

New Layouts

I have been a busy bee.  Here is what I've been working on.....

We recently had some protests in Sacramento and they turned ugly for a brief time.  To document this event, I used Silvia Romeo's kit "Daily News".  It's perfect, don't you think?

And then we spent some time with my talented sister-in-law.  I just had to honor her incredible handiwork with a layout.  I used "Embroidered Dreams" by Silvia Romeo.  Her kits are just amazing and I love using them.
